The first few months of life allows for the greatest amount of learning, your child will have lots of opportunities to explore the fun activities set out daily. They are allowed to explore their setting freely, with the comfort and safety of having their key worker for support and encouragement, at every step of their development. The Key worker will be responsible for working with you to learn your baby’s routine and individual needs. Your baby will be able to have a sleep in a cot when he/she needs it and we work with you to ensure we follow your milk routine too.

The Baby Room covers the upper floor of the Nursery. It has a large open space for the babies to play and a separate sleep room for babies to rest in peace.

There is a separate changing room for staff to change the babies nappies; we provide baby wipes and  barrier creams but you will need to provide your child`s own nappies (You can either bring in enough nappies for the day when dropping off your child or bring in a bulk amount in for us to store at the Nursery).

First and foremost our babies at nursery feel loved and cared for – Babies build a picture of themselves from the way in which they are regarded and treated, particularly by those people who are closest to them. The most fundamental part of our role with babies is to make sure that this picture develops into a positive sense of identity. We do this by treating each child respectfully and as a unique individual. Tuning into the things that interest them and providing rich experiences which encourage development across all areas.
